MARK McManus’ contract at Gateshead Football Club has been cancelled by mutual consent.
The 21-year-old defender spent pre-season with the Heed before signing permanently in September 2018.
McManus made one competitive appearance for the Tynesiders in the 4-0 Durham Challenge Cup victory over Billingham Town back in October.
The Australian has since spent the past two months on loan at Northern League Division One side North Shields, while continuing to train daily at Gateshead.
And following the end of that loan spell, an agreement has now been reached with both parties to cancel the contract – allowing the player to find a new permantent club.
Gateshead FC would like to thank Mark for his time at the club and wish him the very best for the future.
