GATESHEAD Football Club have added a fifth pre-season friendly to their schedule as they welcome Scottish Premiership side Livingston to Kingston Park on Tuesday 24 July (7:30pm kick-off).

Due to the International Stadium pitch being out of use during the final week of July, the Heed will be playing their final home match of pre-season across the river at Kingston Park, home of Newcastle Falcons.

The visitors, Livingston will prove tough opponents for the Tynesiders after recently sealing back-to-back promotions to return to the Scottish top-flight for the first time since 2006.

Now under the guidance of newly appointed player-manager Kenny Miller, The Lions will have already got their competitive season underway with three Scottish League Cup Group Stage games prior to the Kingston Park friendly.

For those not familiar with the venue – Kingston Park is a 10,200 capacity stadium situated on Brunton Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne (NE13 8AF). It has an SIS artificial pitch installed which will provide ideal preparation for the likes of Bromley, Harrogate Town, Sutton United and Maidstone United in the National League this coming season.

As always, tickets will be available to purchase on the gate. 2018/19 season ticket holders will be granted free entry to all home friendlies, including the match at Kingston Park.

Home pre-season ticket prices:

Adults – £10

Concessions/Students – £5

Under-16s – £2

Under-12s – FREE (when accompanied by an adult)
