Gateshead FC Reserves

Gateshead Reserves have entered the eastern division of the totesport.com Central League for the 2010/2011 season.
Home games will be played at the International Stadium on a Monday night while away games will also be during the week.

Gateshead Reserves will kick-off their first totesport.com Central League campaign at home to Leeds United's second string on Monday 16th August at the International Stadium.

Gateshead reserves have been placed in the east division of the totesport.com Central League following Friday's AGM at Hillsborough.

Gateshead's application to join the totesport.com Central League has been formally accepted.
The Tynesiders newly formed reserve team, managed by Paul Bryson, will join the Eastern division which last season included the second strings of the following clubs;

Gateshead warmed up for Saturday's trip to Mansfield Town with a 3-0 behind closed doors friendly win over Northern League side Consett last night.
The game, on the 3G pitch behind the International Stadium - Gateshead's training base - saw new signing Andy Ferrell mark his first appearance for the Tynesiders with a fine goal.... [More...]

Gateshead were due to play Spennymoor Town in a friendly tonight at the Brewery Field. Unfortunately, due to a frozen pitch this friendly has been CANCELLED.
The Blue Square Premier game against Altrincham has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 23rd giving Gateshead four consecutive home games in the second half of February.... [More...]
