The totesport.com Central League have decided that future admission to the competition will be restricted to Premiership and Football League clubs while membership by Conference Premier clubs would be restricted to existing members only.

Gateshead warmed up for Saturday's trip to Mansfield Town with a 3-0 behind closed doors friendly win over Northern League side Consett last night.
The game, on the 3G pitch behind the International Stadium - Gateshead's training base - saw new signing Andy Ferrell mark his first appearance for the Tynesiders with a fine goal.... [More...]

Gateshead were due to play Spennymoor Town in a friendly tonight at the Brewery Field. Unfortunately, due to a frozen pitch this friendly has been CANCELLED.
The Blue Square Premier game against Altrincham has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 23rd giving Gateshead four consecutive home games in the second half of February.... [More...]
