Gateshead FC Community Coaching
Since it's conception in the 2007/08 season, over 250 youngsters have attended our hugely successful Community Coaching Courses.
The emphasis of the programme is focussed on enjoyment and development. In association with our official partners and 'Fit for a City', we pro-actively encourage both adults and children to participate in football and promote Gateshead as an active and healthy community to both live and work.
The success of our Community Programme has resulted in Gateshead Football Club being awarded FA Standard Charter Club of the Year for 2009. Joel Errington a graduate of our thriving junior section and one of the programme co-ordinators was recently awarded with the prestigious FA Standard Coach of the Year for 2009, which is a fabulous achievement.
Community Coaching Courses 2010
Our courses are held at Gateshead International Stadium, for ages 4 – 14.
Coaching is conducted by members of the Gateshead FC Team.
April – Easter – April 6th - 9th
Tuesday April 6th - One Day - Reception Class and Year Group 1 - £12
Tuesday April 6th to Friday 9th April - Four Days - Year Group 2 and above (Including Goalkeeping Course) - £40
Summer – August 2nd – 6th
Monday 2nd August - One Day - Reception Class and Year Group 1 - £12
Tuesday 3rd August to Friday 6th August - Four Days - Year Group 2 and above (Including Goalkeeping Course) - £40
Autumn Half Term – 25th - 29th October
Monday 25th October - One Day - Reception Class and Year Group 1 - £12
Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th October - Four Days – Year Group 2 and above (Including Goalkeeping Course) - £40
