Shaw Scoops Trophy Treble

Jon Shaw picked up three trophies at the end of season Presentation Awards which took place at the International Stadium.

Shaw was named the supporters Player of the Year with right back Craig Baxter runner up and central defender James Curtis third.

The 35 goal striker also claimed the leading goalscorer award and the Potts Print Player of the Year trophy.

Yemi Odubade won the Goal of the Season award for his superb early season solo strike at home to Mansfield Town.

Runner-up was Martin Brittain for his goal in the 1-1 draw at home to Darlington with Shaw third for his last gasp New Year's Day goal at the Darlington Arena.

Central defender Luke Gilbert was named Gateshead Reserves Player of the Year.

Simon Lowery meanwhile presented Gateshead chairman Graham Wood with a cheque for £6,000 on behalf of Gateshead FC Supporters Club.
