Moore and Gillies contracts extended
Gateshead have extended the contracts of wide men Josh Gillies and Chris Moore until the end of the season.
Gillies joined the club in the summer of 2010 from FA Vase winners Whitley Bay having previously played in the Conference North with Blyth Spartans.
The 21-year-old was restricted to three starts and 17 appearances off the bench last season but has been in the starting line up on 12 occasions this season.
"Gillies has progressed as a player and has good attributes," said manager Ian Bogie "he now needs to produce the goods on a regular basis to reach his potential."
Moore signed for Gateshead in the close season after helping Darlington win the FA Trophy final at Wembley against Mansfield Town.
The former Newcastle United trainee had earlier won an FA Vase winners medal with Whitley Bay before joining Darlington during their relegation season from the Football League.
Moore, 28 later this month, was sidelined for several weeks with a shoulder injury sustained at Fleetwood in September but has now returned to the side.
He has made 18 appearances this season, six off the bench, and chipped in with two goals.
"Moore brings pace to the attack and can play on either flank," added Bogie "like Gillies he has earned a contract extension and I am looking for both players to kick on in the second half of the season."
