Gateshead Chairman, Graham Wood said, "We've chosen to work with Vandanel because their quality is of the highest standard and the designs are bespoke.

"Other suppliers simply provide a catalogue of products that are widely used elsewhere and we want kit which is exclusive to our club".

Vandanel Managing Director, Spencer Guinchard said, "We are proud to be associated with Gateshead Football Club as kit suppliers from next season.

"The deal is another step forward in developing the Vandanel Premier brand and we're excited to be associated with such an ambitious club.

"We've worked closely with Gateshead FC in designing an exciting set of bespoke home & away kits and we look forward to building a strong and long term relationship with the club".

Gateshead's away strip of claret & blue reverts back to the colours first used by the club during their formative years in the Football League during the 1930s.

The traditional home strip of white shirts and back shorts is maintained, though a new feature is the use of hooped socks which will also be incoroprated into the away design.

The replica kits will be with available from mid June and advance orders can be placed via the GFC website at www.Gateshead-FC.com/shop from today.
