Reserves take on Tigers

Gateshead reserves will field a strong side for their totesport.com League game against Hull City's second string at North Ferriby tonight.

With Luke Gilbert unavailable Gateshead name 11 professionals with youngsters Jordan Bogie and Dan Young on the bench.

Paul Farman returns in goal and there will once again be an international strike force with former England U.20 front man Richard Offiong partnering ex. Ireland U.21 forward Gary Mulligan.

Mulligan steps up his comeback campaign after playing 45 minutes at Leeds United last week only to be then laid low with a virus.

Offiong played 20 minutes at Grimsby Town last night and scored his first goal for Gateshead with a superb solo effort four minutes from time.

Josh Gillies and James Marwood swap places in midfield with Gillies on the right and Marwood in the middle alongside Ashley Winn.

Striker Jonny Allan is unavailable due to injury but hoping to rejoin training on Friday.

The two sides drew 1-1 on Tyneside earlier in the season.

Hull are set to give run outs to experienced strike pair Richard Garcia and Jay Simpson while on loan Everton youngster David Amoo will be looking to impress.
