New physio for the Tynesiders
A further change to the club's backroom staff has been announced with Blyth Spartans' highly regarded physio Gary Neasham joining Gateshead.
Neasham, who has spent the last six years at Croft Park, replaces previous physio Jason Ellis who has left Gateshead to concentrate on his own practice.
"I would like to thank Jason Ellis for the professional job he did at Gateshead and understand his reasons for moving on," said manager Ian Bogie.
"I am delighted to announce that Gary Neasham has taken over from Jason and he will be a great addition to our backroom staff.
"Neash did a very good job at Blyth. I know their loss is certainly our gain and I welcome him to Gateshead."
Neasham has thanked Blyth Spartans for an enjoyable six years but is delighted to further his career by joining a Gateshead outfit that has just turned professional.
"This has been an extremely difficult decision for me and I have made it on the grounds of progression and my gradual migration into full-time football," said Neasham.
A statement from Blyth said: "The club would like to go on record to express their gratitude at the excellent work that Gary has done during his time at Blyth Spartans and wish him all the best in the future."
