Fleetwood Town 2 - 3 Gateshead

29/01/2008
Second half goals from Kris Gate and two from Graeme Armstrong, his second double in as many games, means the Tynesiders have won there last six in all competitions and are hot on the heels of tonight's opponents Fleetwood Town.

Following a goaless first half, the away side took the lead just after the hour mark through Gate before 2nd placed Fleetwood hit back minutes later.

Despite an impressive Gateshead performance Fletwood gained the initiative mid way through the half, taking the lead for the first time in the game before Ian Bogie's men showed good resolve to equalise through in-form Graeme Armstrong.

It was Armstrong again who pounced twenty minutes before time to secure the three points and ensure Gateshead remain unbeaten since the first day of the year.
